|Easter Message From Fr Martin|

“The resurrection of Christ was God’s supreme and wholly marvellous work”
These words of Saint Augustine sum up the meaning and the message of Easter. This statement describes the impact of God.
God continues to have an impact on our lives.
Every week begins with Sunday, the Lord’s Day, the day of rest. The pace of life each Sunday is noticeably different from the busy routines we have during the rest of the week. Each Sunday we remember Christ’s resurrection.
The life and mission of our School to educate the young people in our care is grounded in the Resurrection of Christ. Christ’s resurrection informs us to honour each other because each person at our School is a unique thought of God, we want each person to develop their God given gifts and talents, and we forgive each other because God’s has forgiven us.
Charity and concern are bold characteristics of our School. We are a community of charity because we believe in Christ’s support: the support he gave over two thousand years ago, and the support we continue to receive from him today.
A special mention to those pupils and staff travelling to Poland and on the ski trip: I hope that you have a safe journey and an enjoyable visit.
